Modern Pet Portrait Commissions

Contrary to the stereotype of the brooding, inwardly focused artist, I seek genuine connection with others. As you may have guessed, “others” includes animals. I believe every person—and every pet—has a unique and fascinating story to tell. That’s why there is nothing formulaic about my one-of-a-kind pet portrait commissions. It truly makes me happy to capture the essence of your animal—the quizzical expression, the lovable quirkiness, the joyful zest for life—for you to cherish forever.

Lisa & PicaAnd I mean this with all sincerity. To me, commissioned pieces are often more rewarding than those I do for myself. I have heard the most amazing stories about your pet’s that have brought me to tears. From rescued pets, therapy animals and even dogs trained to help those with epilepsy and cancer, I’ve heard them all I’m so grateful and honored that you have shared these heartwarming tales with me.

How about your furry little friend?

I’d love to work with you on creating a beautiful, whimsical and hopefully cherished piece of art. If you are considering commissioning a piece, or are just interested in how it works, I’m more than happy to walk you through the process, pricing and answer any questions you may have. Drop me a line.

Hi Lisa! You did 2 commissioned paintings of my GSP’s, Gunner and Georgia, 3 years ago. We’ve added another pup, Josie, and I’m wondering if you would do a painting of her as well! Please let me know!
